Life Question: Why We Should Not Quit; But Conquer When Life
Challenges Us?
Hi there everyone! Hope all of you are having a great week thus far! I just
had my last appointment with my neurologist, and he has given me a clean
bill of health! Everything's working the way it needs to and he saw no further
difficulties ahead for me. His words to me, "Don't spend time worrying, spend
time living!"
I am almost done with my physical and occupational therapy. Katie and Emily,
my therapists who have been helping me said that tomorrow should be my final
appointment with them because I am doing so well! YAY!
That doesn't mean I don't still have to continue my therapy at home. I do, because
not all of my strength has yet returned, but the hardest part of my journey is passed
me now. Now I am in the maintainence stage of my surgical recovery. I will be
turning my place into a makeshift gym to help with my exercises for when the snow flies, and working out at the Y is not an option. Through it all my little Chiweenie
Ruby Rya has been with her mommy cheering her on and getting oodles of
snuggle time!
She's been a great cheering section and inspiration for me. If not for God, my
angels and Ruby in my corner, I don't think I would've come this far. I faced
many challenges after my hydrocephalus happenend, and made it this far,
there's not a reason why God and his angels cannot get me the rest of the
way! He IS the Conquerer! The Conquerer of Challenges!
Through his strength, we can overcome anything! AMEN!
So.....Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you as he has
promised in His Word!
Blessings,
Liz Ciccone
