Hurting

September 8th was a most joyous occasion. It marked the release of imprisoned pastor Youcef Nadarkhani. On Christmas Day, as many of us around the world celebrated Our Lord's birthday, he was ripped away from his family to serve out the 45 remaining days left of his sentence.

His attorney Mohammad Ali Dadkhah, who was the brave attorney who represented and won Pastor Youcef's case, and was also jailed as a result, in Evin Prison, one of Iran's most abusive and dangerous prisons, is now in deterorating health due to his imprisonment. When Mr. Dadkhah's daughter went to see him, he did not recognize her. When his brother was visiting with him, his brother Seyed Hossein Dadkhah took note that his brother's speech was haphazard when he spoke with him. The family does not know what would cause this.

For all who visit Soul Conversations website and blog, Soul Conversations asks it's visitors and customers alike to please pray for these brave men and their families during this time of trial for all involved. We must in this time look to our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ and God His Father, just as their families are doing now and ask for the hearts of their oppressors to be changed and brought into the Light of God and His Son so that they will be soon free to go home. Pray especially for Mr. Dadkhah's health to improve.
