Santa Claus, Rudolph, presents. These are some of the things that come to mind when we think of Christmas.
Christmas is celebrated for one very important reason.....the birthday of our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.
It is for this reason that we celebrate this most important day.
Something that has always struck me strange is that we don't look beyond all he went through in His life. A birthday to me, is not just celebrating one's birth and leaving it at that. It's about reminiscing, recalling and sharing the events of the past, but also looking at the promise that is ahead.
Jesus' life throught his ministry was not always an easy one. It was a life spent, at times, in secret while witnessing because of persecution, it was a life too, of Him breaking down barriers, of performing miracles and of opening and changing the hearts of so many.
Oh, yes! He left His footprints for us to follow. All one needs to do is look up and ask where the good way is.
So as you've had time to ponder the things I have said about all Jesus did for us, think about the things we can do for Him!
