Light of the World,

We did not know truth until you dwelt among us

as a child,

We did not know love until you taught us its 

true meaning.

We did not know the meaning of sacrifice,

until you were nailed to the cross,

We did not know forgiveness,

until you carried our sins away.

We did not know salvation,

until we gave our lives over to your control.

We did not know true and lasting peace until

we accepted you into our lives.

We love you,

We honor you,

We follow you,
