TONIGHT'S EVENING PRAYER(Based on Isaiah 28: 11-12)
Father God,
You spoke to your people...."This is the resting place,"
I retire to my bed, let restlessness be replaced by your peace.
You spoke to your people...."Let the weary rest,"
Let me during the night feel your spirit fill me with all I
will need to wake to the day ahead.
"This is the place of repose."
The place of my repose is with you and in you
for you are the God who renews the weakened spirit.
